What makes the DuraLabel PRO so easy to use?

Perhaps it's the bundled software. Or it could be the design of the DuraLabel PRO. Maybe it's the easy access for changing supplies. All of these reasons and more make the DuraLabel PRO top in its class for user-friendly functionality. While many vendors promise easy-to-use machines, the DuraLabel PRO actually delivers convenience and ease of use.

Here are four reasons why the DuraLabel PRO is easy to use:

1) Easy-To-Use Software

The DuraLabel PRO gives you multiple options for software to use for printing your labels and signs. But the DuraLabel PRO does not require special software be used; it is compatible with software you are already using on your own PC, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or the open source Open Office software suite.

Any software you have that works with your computer printer, will work with the DuraLabel PRO. For example, start up Microsoft Windows. Set the paper size for four inches high, and whatever width you'd like your label to be, and you are ready to go. Save your label design just as you would any other Word document and you can use this makeshift template over and over.

The DuraLabel PRO also comes with the Industrial Labeling Software (ILS) suite for specialized applications such as RTK labels and Arc Flash labels. This database software allows you to keep track of the labels you have printed, in addition to allowing you to print those labels directly from within the software.

The RTK software comes with a database of over 1,400 chemicals. Search for a chemical name or CAS number, customize the label, and it's ready to print.

The Arc Flash software has the ability to print labels in three languages, English, French, and Spanish. Just select the language you wish to use from a menu.

2) The Design of The DuraLabel PRO

As you can see in the picture to the right, the DuraLabel PRO has a simple, direct material feed path. Not only does this design make loading supplies fast and easy, it eliminates the potential for feeding problems. Whether 1/8-inch shrink tube is being used or four-inch metalized polyester, it will feed through the DuraLabel PRO with no binding, bending, jamming, or other problems.

The straight-through feed path also simplifies the design of DuraLabel PRO. It eliminates the need for additional rollers and guides, reducing the time required for maintenance and cleaning. The label material comes off the feed roll, through the thermal print out, and pops out of the machine. It's that simple.

3) Easy Access For Changing Supplies

The DuraLabel PRO's wide top and simple tape feed path allow for plenty of room to work. Even people with large hands can easily and quickly change tapes in the DuraLabel PRO.

Access for changing the ribbon is through the top of the machine (shown to the left). The DuraLabel PRO also has a wide opening to make changing ribbons quick and easy, too.

This professional label printer has been designed and developed by people who have used, and had problems with, other brands of label printers. After much testing and consideration, those problems have been eliminated in the DuraLabel PRO, resulting in a superior machine that can get the job done quickly and efficiently.

4) Hundreds of Templates Included

To make getting started even quicker and more convenient, the DuraLabel PRO comes with a set of several hundred Word and Excel templates. Open software such as Microsoft Word, select the appropriate template, modify the template by typing in new text, and start printing the labels or signs you need.
