In the Visual Workplace,
the DuraLabel PRO Redefines Versatility and Flexibility
The DuraLabel PRO is a high-speed, industrial-grade thermal transfer printer designed to make long-lasting labels and signs.
Versatility and flexibility in a label printer are paramount features. Being able to get the most out of your label printer capitalizes time and money. The more jobs a printer can handle, the higher the usage rate and the lower your costs. A label printer that can handle a wide range of applications delivers substantial cost savings.
The DuraLabel PRO Delivers!
Four characteristics are key to having a versatile and flexible printer:
1) Ability To Print A Wide Variety of Materials
The DuraLabel PRO has a thermal print head than can print on any labeling material designed for thermal printing that can be fed through the printer. This means it can make labels as diverse as shrink tubes (for labeling wires) to reflective parking lot signs.
Shrink tubes can be very small, sometimes as small as 1/8" in width. On the other hand, the reflective parking lot sign shown here is 20" x 24" in size.
Plus the DuraLabel PRO's thermal transfer printing system, which melts ink from a ribbon such that the ink hardens and adheres to the label material, will print a crisp, clean image on a variety of absorbent and nonabsorbent materials.
Whether you need a chemical resistant OSHA safety sign, or to print small die-cut labels, the DuraLabel PRO can handle the job.
2) Ability to Feed a Wide Variety of Materials
The printer must also be able to feed a variety of label materials through the print head.
The DuraLabel PRO can handle materials from 1/8" up to 4" in width. It can handle vinyl, polyolefin, die-cut labels, polyethylene, duratag stock*, and other types materials. The DuraLabel PRO is shown here printing on metallized polyester.
In addition, the DuraLabel opens wide, making it easy to change labeling materials. The entire top of the machine lifts up, providing wide-open access to install whatever type of supplies you need to use.
3) Having A Wide Variety of Supplies Available
A printer is only as versatile as its available supplies. The DuraLabel PRO stands out in this arena. It has a huge selection of supplies, ranging from industrial-grade continuous vinyl to four-color die-cut labels.
There is so much to say about DuraLabel PRO supplies that we've created a separate web page just to talk about supplies. Read more about DuraLabel PRO supplies.
4) The Ability To Make Larger Signs
The DuraLabel PRO is not limited to signs that are four inches in width, the maximum width of the tape it can print. Using your own software (Microsoft Word), you can create a larger sign that is printed in strips that can be tiled across a flat surface. Application is easy and mess-free.
For example, the "no parking" sign shown above is made from five strips of reflective vinyl tape. The "caustic unloading" sign shown here was made using three strips of yellow vinyl tape.
When it comes to the capabilities you need to get the greatest possible use from your label printer, the DuraLabel PRO delivers like no other machine!
