General Tips for Using
the Brady Labelizer Plus

A few general tips for all labelers ...
This page is intended
to serve as a general introduction to using the Brady Labelizer
Plus label and sign printer. Detailed information is available
in the user's manual. In addition, step-by-step instructions
for making five types of labels is provided in other parts
of this tutorial.
| PRINT PREVIEW |
When you've completed a label you can view it before printing it.
- PREVIEW
- Print Preview

- Your label will appear on the screen.
- Use the "<" and ">" keys to zoom in and out to bring the label into focus.
- Use the directional arrows to move to different areas of the label.

SAVE
(to resident memory) |
You can save labels in the resident memory of the Brady Labelizer Plus or on a Brady Labelizer Plus memory card.
- FILE
- Arrow down to the "SAVE" option.
- Type in the name of your file

- Your label has been saved.

GET
(from resident memory) |
You can retrieve labels from the resident memory of the Brady Labelizer Plus or from a Brady Labelizer Plus memory card.
- FILE
- Arrow down to the "GET" option.
- Type in the name of your file
. If you can't remember the name of the file, use the right arrow to scroll through the list of what has been saved in the memory.
- Your label has been retrieved.

| SAVE and GET using a MEMORY CARD |
- Place a memory card in a side slot
- FILE
- Down arrow to "Resident Memory"
- Use the right arrow to change to "Memory Card"
- Up arrow to "GET" or "SAVE" and continue with the same steps listed above. Files may also be deleted using these same steps.

| POWER CARDS |
Never take a power card in or out of the side slots when the GREEN "Card Active" light is on. You will erase the software on the card. |
