Making Labels with Bar Codes


Labeling example

The following are step-by-step instructions for making
a bar code label with the Labelizer Plus.

1. Insert 1/2" black on yellow tape in the Labelizer Plus.

2. Check the Label Options settings. They should be:

Justification - Center
Text Position - Middle
Frame Label - Off
Frame Area - Off
Reverse Print - Off
Text Direction - Labeling
Character Spacing - Normal
Line Spacing - Normal
Mirror - Off
Baseline - Center

The above are the correct settings. If your Labelizer Plus does not have these settings selected, use the up/down arrows to select the correct setting, then use the left/right arrows to change the setting.
When done, push Labeling

3. Turn the CAP LOCKS on

4. Insert the 3 OF 9 BAR CODE POWER CARD into a side slot in the Labelizer Plus.

Hold down the SHIFT key and push BARCODE
(selects the bar code settings)

Select the following settings:

Height - .25
Start/Stop - Off
Density - 20 mil (normal)
Check Character - Off
HR Text - Below

Push Labeling

5. Enter .25 as the TYPE SIZE, and push Labeling

At the cursor Labeling

6. Type: BIN A7, then push the space bar.

7. BAR CODE, 3 of 9, push Labeling

Type: 1009-A7, BAR CODE, then push the space bar.

8. TYPE SIZE, .1 Labeling, At cursor Labeling
9. Type: 2" LAG BOLTS
10. PRINT PREVIEW
