Make CAUTION Labels and Signs with the Brady Labelizer Plus

Caution labels and signs are typically yellow with black text and graphics. The word "CAUTION" appears across the top in reverse print.

The following are step-by-step instructions for making caution labels and signs using the Brady Labelizer Plus. Whenever the Label Printer symbol appears, push the Labeling key on the Brady Labelizer Plus keyboard.

1. Insert 4" black-on-yellow tape.
2. Check the Label Options settings. They should be:

Justification - Center
Frame Label - Thin
Reverse Print - Off
Character Spacing - Normal
Mirror - Off		 Text Position - Middle
Frame Area - Off
Text Direction - Labeling
Line Spacing - Normal
Baseline - Center

The above are the correct settings. If your Labelizer Plus does not have these settings selected, use the up/down arrows to select, then use the left/right arrows to change the setting. When done, push Label Printer
3. Turn on the CAPS LOCKS
4. LABEL LAYOUT, Standard Layout, push Labeling, use right arrow to select template in upper right corner then push Label Printer
5. LABEL OPTIONS, down arrow to Reverse Print option, use right arrow to turn it 'on' then push Labeling. At the beginning of area push Label Printer.
6. TYPE SIZE, .6 Labeling, at cursor Label Printer.
7. TYPE OPTIONS, Expand/Condense to 85% (use the left arrow to select), Labeling
8. Type: CAUTION
9. NEXT AREA
10. TYPE SIZE, .4 Label Printer, at cursor Labeling
11. LABEL OPTIONS, down arrow to Reverse Print, Right Arrow to turn it "off", Label Printer
12. Type in the next three lines
13. PRINT PREVIEW
Once the information has been typed and you would like to edit the label, use the SHIFT key with either the right or left arrow to move between the label areas. If you would like to know which label area you are working in, look at the bottom left part of the screen and you will see the layout you selected and the section you are working in will be shaded.
