Making Emergency Information Labels and Signs

The Brady Labelizer Plus can quickly make emergency information labels and signs. The following provides step-by-step instructions describing how to make the label shown here.
- Insert 2-1/4" white-on-green tape
- Check the Label Options settings. They should be:
Justification - Center
Frame Label - Thin
Reverse Print - Off
Character Spacing - Normal
Mirror - Off |
Text
Position - Middle
Frame Area - Off
Text Direction -
Line Spacing - Normal
Baseline - Center |
Above details the correct settings. If your Labelizer Plus does not have these settings selected, use the up/down arrows to select, then use the left/right arrows to change the setting. When done, push 
- Turn on the CAP LOCKS
- Insert the SAFETY PICTOGRAM CARD #2 into a side slot.
- LABEL LAYOUT, Standard Layout
, use the right arrow to select template in bottom row, second from the right.
- TYPE SIZE, 1.5

at the cursor 
- GRAPHICS, Safety Pictogram 2
, 19 (19 corresponds with the Safety Shower pictogram)
- NEXT AREA
- TYPE SIZE, .25
, at the cursor 
- TYPE OPTIONS, Expand/Condense, left arrow to
50%,

- Type in the remaining text
- PRINT PREVIEW
Once the information has been typed in and you would like to edit the label, use the SHIFT key with either the right or left arrow to move between the label areas. If you would like to know which label area you are working in, look at the bottom left part of the screen and you will see the layout you selected and the section you are working in will be shaded.
